Calculating the Dose = To Save Lives
Tuesday, May 24, 2011 | posted by TheRandomPianist

The truth is, I hate math. But, not to pat myself on my back-- I've been really good in Geometry and Trigonometry. That was in high school, ok? But now that I'm getting older, arithmetic is all that I have. I've been spending my time right now on how to calculate the dosages again depending on the route of administration. I am really having a hard time right now because not being able to have a duty for a long long time is not being able to practice Nursing Math. But I have to.. I should try harder.. Getting the right dose = saving lives. A little error = fatality to your clients, so I guess I have to boost up my neurons on these numbers.

Enough said.

I post random stuff and most of them are my dose of reality. Classical songs, Switchfoot, Regina Spektor, etc. are my musical choices.

I love Vicodin. I am a Registered Nurse.
